Growing Wiltshire recruitment company 24-7 Staffing has been shortlisted for prestigious industry awards.
The Chippenham-based business is in contention for the title of ‘Recruitment Agency of the Year – Small’, one of the annual awards run by the sector’s leading trade publication, Recruiter.
24-7 Staffing – which provides temporary and permanent staff for the driving, industrial, commercial, and healthcare sectors – is up against 11 other business in the 11-49 employees category, with the overall winner due to be announced at an awards ceremony in London on May 3.
The shortlist follows hot on the heels of 24-7 Staffing’s win at last week’s Chippenham Business Awards, where it scooped the Customer Service Award.
Director Julian Thompson said to be a finalist for the Recruiter awards was a feather in the cap for the business, which he set up in 2004 and which now has branches in Bristol and Salisbury.
“It’s no exaggeration to say we change people’s lives through employment. We recognise the impact this has on their families and the community, which makes the work we do incredibly fulfilling,” he said. “We are committed to providing a great service for our clients and candidates, while at the same time growing our business, and we are able to do this by having a talented and supportive team.”
Julian said winning the Chippenham Business Award was a great achievement. “We’ve been in Chippenham since we set up in 2004, and the town and the community mean a great deal to us. We provide a vital service to the business and job-seeking community, and so offering excellent customer service is something we take very seriously.”
