In National Apprenticeship Week, great to see our client CentraHeat is really supporting apprentices. Here’s our latest press release
Leading Wiltshire-based plumbing and heating firm CentraHeat is celebrating after two of its apprentices successfully passed their training to become fully qualified.
Jack Wichall and Rob Dawes were already qualified in plumbing but have now gone on to qualify on the gas heating side, and will shortly appear on the Gas Safe register. The passes mark a successful end to their apprenticeship training with the Royal Wootton Bassett-based company, and they will stay on as fully fledged engineers.
CentraHeat prides itself on supporting apprentices and appears in the prestigious Centrica Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer list, which is compiled annually by the National Apprenticeship Service and recognises excellence in businesses that employ apprentices. Indeed, March 6 to 10 is National Apprenticeship Week.
Lee Flanagan, CentraHeat founder and managing director, said Rob’s and Jack’s success was testament to the company’s philosophy of supporting apprentices.
“We are delighted for Rob and Jack, who have both worked hard to achieve this success,” said Lee. “I am a firm believer in using apprentices, and growing our own talent – I was an apprentice myself – and it is really paying dividends for CentraHeat, as our apprentices grow and learn, and become great ambassadors for the business.”
Jack joined CentraHeat in October, having completed the plumbing element of his apprenticeship with another company. He said: “I am delighted to be qualified now, and love working for CentraHeat, because they make all the staff feel really valued.”
Rob has been with CentraHeat throughout his apprenticeship. He said: “I am over the moon to have finally qualified. CentraHeat is an amazing company to work for.”
CentraHeat still has one apprentice in training, and plans to take on another this year. More information about CentraHeat here.
